God—through Jesus Christ—stepped out of time, into time, to change time, for all time. With that being said, I'm pretty sure we can trust Him with our time all the time. "My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me" (Psalm 31:15).
Satan's primary goal is to get us to think independently from God's authority. By doing so, he can make truth relative and morals subjective. Our present culture is a perfect picture of this landslide. Thus, let us stay committed to the Word so as to bring God's righteous standard to our world. "Let your heart therefore be wholly devoted to the LORD our God, to walk in His statutes and to keep His commandments, as at this day" (I Kings 8:61).
The tribulation of this world cannot move you when it is the grace of God that grips you. "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God" (Acts 20:24).
The only way to overcome this fallen world is to be fully satisfied by the risen Lord. Because when we taste and see that He is good, we will consequentially lose our appetite for the world. "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him" (Psalm 34:8).
