You’ll find two types of blogs here: long-form (Blog)
& short-form (Daily Dose).
Things may look a certain way from our eye-sight, but seeking God's heart grants us spiritual insight. And with new "sight" in the heart comes new might to endure. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him" (James 1:5).
Nothing in this world can take your life until God permits. And nothing in this world can preserve your life unless God permits. Thus, let us learn to trust what God permits and let us find rest in knowing nothing can happen without His permission. "The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein" (Psalm 24:1).
Hope in Christ. For all other people and places are hopeless. And when our hope is in Christ alone, we come to know this world is not our home. "To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27).
Worldly people will always be compliant with the ways of the world. Conversely, godly people will always be obedient to the ways of God. Thus, let us choose this day who we will obey! Obedience over compliance. "But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29).

For those of you who don’t know, our church Coastal Christian, where my husband Matt is a Teaching Pastor, just made a huge announcement...
Does anyone else sense that we are witnessing the collapse and disintegration of a nation? The Bible clearly states in Proverbs 14:34, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” And when I look around in our land, I see...
