We are presented blameless because the Lamb of God took the blame for us. In other words, Christ became the scapegoat so that we could escape guilt. "Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy" (Jude 24).
If we don't cling to what is good, what is not good will cling to us. Thus, let us "abhor what is evil, and cling to what is good" (Romans 12:9).
Christ took the rags of our wretchedness and wrapped us in the robe of His righteousness. He knew not sin and yet He became sin so we could be saved in Him. "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Repentance isn't rehearsed. No. It is a heart and mind that is reversed. In other words, the sign of a changed heart and mind is a changed life. And you can't fake that. "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance" (Matthew 3:8).
Coming to Christ will bring your soul to heaven, while staying in Christ will bring heaven to your soul. You see, true saving faith rolls over to abiding faith. "Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him" (Colossians 2:6).
