The difference between a soul at rest and a soul arrested is the foundation beneath it. If it’s not built on the truth of Christ, that ground won’t free you, it will bind you. As it is written in Book of Jeremiah 6:16: “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”
