BUILDING on the ROCK

Building your house on the Rock doesn't exempt you from the storms of life, it only prepares you for them. God has a plan with even our difficulties; and He doesn't need us to understand them, He just wants us to lean on Him to withstand them. Thus, our building on Him is actually us trusting in Him through the thick and through the thin. "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock" (Matthew 7:24).
