M2 presents D2: "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock" (Matthew 7:24).Building your house on the Rock doesn't exempt you from the storms of life, it only prepares you for them. God has a plan with even our difficulties; and He doesn't need us to understand them, He just wants us to lean on Him to withstand them. Thus, our building on Him is actually us trusting in Him.
