CONFORMITY to GOD's CHARACTER

God will not take us out of our trouble until we first allow Him to take the trouble out of us. You see, God's desired outcome for the believer is never comfort from trials, but rather conformity to His Son. "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren" (Romans 8:29).
