M2 presents D2: “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” (I Peter 5:6). The mighty hand of God doesn’t push down, but it actually pulls up the person who is “low down.” Therefore, it is only in humility where we can begin to defy gravity.
