When we mismanage crisis, we miss what God is trying to accomplish. As C.S. Lewis once said, "God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” You see, pain is often an interruption that God uses to get our attention. So here is an important question for all of us--how are we using this time to draw closer to Jesus?
