In God's economy, our temporary light affliction produces eternal weight of glory. Thus, with God's conversion rate, how can we ever complain about the temporal trials that we face? "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" (II Corinthians 4:17).
