Pergamos stood where power and paganism met—a city crowned with temples and shadowed by Satan’s throne. Yet Jesus commended those who held fast to His name when compromise was easier. Faithfulness isn’t proven in comfort but in conflict; it shines brightest where truth is most tested. Stand firm where God has placed you, even when the world bows to another throne. “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is" (Revelation 2:13).
