FAITHFUL ARE THE WOUNDS

There are moments when God’s love feels more like a sting than a soft touch. His correction humbles the heart and exposes what we’ve tried to hide, yet it’s proof that He cares too deeply to let us drift. The world’s flattery might soothe us for a season, but it leaves us unchanged. God’s faithful wounds, on the other hand, shape our character and strengthen our faith. “Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful” (Proverbs 27:6).
