GETTING ALONE WITH THE LORD

It's hard to hear God's voice when we are so preoccupied with the worlds noise. And that is why we need to shut the door on the world and open the window to heaven. This is done by getting alone with the Lord and getting into His Word. Nothing will make us more useful, fruitful, and truthful than this. "But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you" (Matthew 6:6).
