When God sees that we are getting out of tune with His truth, He does what He has to do to bring us back to what’s true. Why? Because of the affection that He has toward us and because He knows best when He allows afflictions to touch us. "I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are right, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me" (Psalm 119:75).
