GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS VERSUS SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS

God's righteousness in us produces faithfulness to forgive. Conversely, self-righteousness produces vindictiveness and revenge. Of which righteousness are you? "Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified" (2 Corinthian 13:5).
