M2 presents D2: "But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace" (Romans 11:6).Grace isn't earned, it's given. We do not have to work our way toward God's favor. We only need to work from God's favor. He grants it freely. Begin using it wisely.
