INTIMACY over INTELLECT

It doesn't matter how well you think you know theology if the joy of Jesus is not part of your personality. Again, it doesn't matter how much Bible you know if the fruit of the Spirit doesn't show (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control). Sadly, too many "believers" major in pointing out errors, while at the same time completely ignoring the bitterness staring at them in the mirror. It ought not be. True believers are marked by a joy that's contagious and a peace that's obvious. And that doesn't come by way of intellect to a doctrine, but by intimacy with a Person.
