It is infinitely better to invest in heaven than to have your only sense of heaven be an earthly investment. You see, it doesn't matter how much money we make or even how much land we stake. Because what truly matters in life is whether or not we see Jesus as the One who paid our sin-debt in full--the One who gave us Himself to be the riches of our soul. "But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:20-21).
