KNOWING the BIBLE vs. KNOWING the AUTHOR

It is not good enough to just know the Bible. True life change comes when you know the Author. Therefore, do not read the Bible as if it is just a book to obtain information. Rather, heed the Bible so as to allow the Author to reach into your life through the pages. His breath can truly revive our souls. "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).
