P-R-A-Y

Praying isn’t just a plea placed before God and hoping He answers. Praying is saying the same thing as God and knowing He’ll answer. It’s agreeing with His will and trusting His way. It’s asking, seeking, and knocking on the door of Scriptures; and then allowing God to open our hearts and eyes to the revelation of His character. You see, when we pray, we are “praising” God for who He is and what He’s done. We are making “requests” according to what we need, not what we want. We are “acknowledging” His sovereignty by the merit of His mercy. And we are “yielding” up our will and ways for His will to be our way. We P-R-A-Y therefore, to learn to trust God’s heart more and more.
