AN INTERNAL LIE DETECTOR

The greatest threat to the Church and Christian isn't physical persecution but spiritual deception. You see, lies can easily enter the soul when we don't abide in the truth of God's Word. Therefore, let us be well acquainted with Scripture so as to have an internal lie detector. "But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him" (I John 2:27).
