TEST THE MESSAGE

In an age flooded with voices, not every voice is from the Lord. Scripture warns that “many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1)—and they don’t all wear religious robes. They show up in pulpits, podiums, platforms, and even pop culture, speaking with moral authority that doesn’t come from God. But beware, because behind every message is a spirit: either truth from the Spirit of God or deception from the spirit of error. And if you don’t test the message, you may end up entangled by it. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God…” (1 John 4:1).
