THE BLESSING OF READING AND HEEDING

Did you know the only book of the Bible that explicitly promises a blessing for reading it is Revelation? John writes, "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it..." (Revelation 1:3). Notice the blessing isn't just for reading or hearing, t is for keeping. Revelation wasn't given to satisfy our curiosity about the future, but to strengthen our faithfulness in the present. The greatest blessing isn't merely understanding prophecy, it's obeying the One who gave it.
