THE BLUEPRINT OF HIS NAIL-PRINTS

Why would the Lord keep His scars after He rose from the dead? Perhaps His nail-prints are a blueprint that outlines His love's eternal imprint. You see, He paid our sinful debt with His sinless life and death. And by keeping His scars, perhaps He wanted us to remember that His scars are covering ours. "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).
