THE CROWN AFTER THE CROSS

The Lamb who was slain is the Lamb now crowned. Heaven does not forget the cross, but it recognizes that the sacrifice of Christ qualified Him for supreme authority. The One who wore a crown of thorns will receive power, glory, and blessing forever. When we remember the cross, we are reminded that the suffering Savior is also the reigning King. “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:12)
