THE GAVEL AND GRACE OF THE CROSS

The cross of Christ is the gavel that incriminates. All are guilty there. And yet, it is also the grace that exonerates. Anyone can find forgiveness there. "But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world" (Galatians 6:14).
