The Gospel doesn't just bring people together who otherwise would be apart, the Gospel also puts people back together who are falling apart. You see, when Jesus is lifted up, unity is forged regardless of race or rank, and hearts are healed regardless of bruise or brokenness. "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself" (John 12:32).
