The gospel of Jesus Christ is the shocking truth of how we have been lovingly accepted by a God whom we blatantly rejected. In other words, our reality is that we deserved death, yet Christ served us life. "Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).
