the KEY to PEACE

February 2, 2019

God has given us the key to peace, yet we can choose to be locked into it, or locked out of it. The choice is ours to behold. You see, the peace of God cannot guard the individual who is anxious about the future or regretful about the past. In other words, when we attempt to move outside of Gods will mentally, as oppose to living in the will of God presently, we are essentially moving ourselves out of liberty. It's a jailbreak from Gods peace--which is the opposite of feeling free. Simply put, you have to leave peace, it doesn’t leave you. Therefore, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).
