Complaining isn’t caused by the greatness of our trouble, but more so by the littleness of our trust. You see, when we grumble, we not only snuff out the light of the Gospel, but by complaining about our situation, we are stating that the Lord isn't able to come through with provision. "Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky" (Philippians 2:14-15).
