THE PLAYBOOK

Persecution rarely begins with violence, it begins with vocabulary. Before there are consequences, there are caricatures; before there are chains, there are labels. Rome once called Christians a disease, and in Acts 24:5 Paul was labeled a plague. Centuries change, but the playbook does not. "Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12).
