THE SWORD IS IN HIS MOUTH

The sword is not in man's hand; it is in Christ's mouth. When we speak His Word, we are not sharing an opinion, we are taking the words right out of His mouth. But His Word must cut us before it ever flows through us. Before you wield the sword on others, let it search your own heart. “Search me, O God, and know my heart…and see if there is any wicked way in me” (Psalm 139:23–24).
