The Apostle Paul told the Philippians that they can trust Timothy, not based on his resume, but based on his integrity. Simply put, true credibility isn’t based on career or credentials but on character. And character doesn’t develop overnight, it develops over trials. "But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly.... But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel" (Philippians 2:19a, 22).
