You can trust in your own hands or you can trust in the Lord's plan, but you cannot do both. You see, trusting in the Lord doesn’t mean everything will happen the way you want, but it does mean that you will not be “in want” no matter what happens. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
