WHAT GOD CALLS JUSTICE

January 20, 2026

We do injustice when we affirm (or turn a blind eye to) what God calls unrighteous. Biblical justice is not about demanding outcomes from a broken system; it is about doing what is right in God’s sight. Scripture never promises us justice from the world, and when people cry out for “justice,” it is often vengeance they truly seek. The calling of the believer is far simpler and far deeper: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God. That is our personal responsibility, regardless of whether the system cooperates or not. This is man’s duty before God. He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)
