WHEN OUR RICHES MAKE US RASH

There is nothing wrong with being rich; what is wrong is when our riches make us rash, reckless, impulsive, and hasty. Or as the commandment from Paul to Timothy goes, "Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy" (1 Timothy 6:17). Thus, do not allow the blessing of being wealthy to become the curse of being haughty.
