THE SIN-SICK SOUL AND THE ILLS OF SOCIETY

The direct cause of the ills of society is not God leaving people but people leaving God. You see, when people depart from God, then God gives those people over to themselves. This is a cruel punishment, to be left to ones own sin-sick soul. And nothing earth supplies can cure the sin-sick soul. Only Christ.  "Is there no balm in Gilead, is there no physician there? Why then is there no recovery for the health of the daughter of my people?" (Jeremiah 8:22)
