"i invite YOU in": A LARGER HEART

What is this blog getting me? Where is this blog taking me? Well, it gets me into your home and hopefully into your heart. And it’s taking me all over the world without me having to physically be there myself. Yet, I’m not satisfied. I pray, “O Lord that I may bless You indeed and that You would expand my opportunity, my influence, and my territory for Your name sake…..”  In other words, I pray for a larger spherical influence to be a part of His kingdom expansion plans. His will be done down here, as it is already accomplished and fulfilled up there.Actually, that’s not altogether true. You see, His kingdom is not just “up there,” it’s supposed to be “in here”—the heart. So when I pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done “on earth as it is in heaven,” I am asking for a larger heart to understand His will, His way, and His walk. Yea, it’s that personal.I’m not blogging about shrinking God’s purpose for a lost world, but I’m blogging about learning God’s purpose in my individual world. And that understanding actually broadens God’s extension through me and into a lost world.I want more and if this blog won’t take me there, I’m willing to go there myself. I don’t need an audience to execute my iCONVICTION. Because if the audience doesn’t understand what my conviction even is, then their non-reaction proves the connection was just temporary friction. But God’s kingdom inside of us desires to extend the King’s hand to the world outside of us.  I want to do more. I need to do more. Not to work my way into productive faith, but to show Him the appreciation I have for His grace. It’s not doing because you have to, but because you want to.So if this blog rings true for you too, then ask yourself, ‘Where will it take me?’  Ask yourself, ‘What is this blogging getting me?’  If it’s just a cute read, then it’s getting you nothing and taking you nowhere. X out the window. Close down the website.  And just keep “liking” other peoples lives without doing anything with yours.iBlog is about me inviting YOU into my experience in redemption—“I invite YOU in”—but don’t just knock on the door and walk away.  Let my faith help your faith, that your faith may help my faith. And together, this blog can take us where we cannot take ourselves.Share if you agree!
