Charlie Kirk was assassinated. That alone should grieve us. But what followed has been equally disturbing: conspiracies blaming Israel, Mossad, or “the Jews.” Some call it discernment, but it’s delusion. This is a spiritual fog: a mix of historical ignorance, antisemitic tropes, YouTube rabbit holes, and deceptive speculation dressed up as truth. Just because something feels intense doesn’t mean it’s inspired. True discernment is anchored in Scripture and guided by the Spirit of Truth. If your theology is shaped more by political influencers than biblical instruction, you’ve veered off course. Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens may be compelling, but they are not teachers of Scripture. They’re not accountable to God’s Word, so stop letting their soundbites shape your beliefs. Those who platform these conspiracies should be ashamed. Using a man’s death to fuel antisemitic speculation is not only irresponsible, but also grossly ignorant.
Let’s not forget what’s real. While conspiracy videos rack up views, Erika Kirk is grieving. Their family is walking through unimaginable pain. They deserve our prayers, not a flood of foolish noise.
These aren’t just fringe views, they’re infecting the Church. Some conspiracists have even tried to justify Hitler’s actions by blaming “Jewish influence” in events like the Bolshevik Revolution. That’s not just false, it’s dangerous. Hitler wasn’t reacting to chaos; he was harnessed by it. He wasn’t provoked; he was possessed by genocidal hate. And no, 15 million Jews don’t secretly run a world of 8 billion. That’s not discernment, it’s deception. Misusing Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 to label the modern state of Israel as the “synagogue of Satan” is a reckless distortion of Scripture. Those verses refer to specific opponents of the early church, not modern Jews or the nation of Israel.
Let’s return to reality. Charlie Kirk was killed by 22-year-old Tyler Robinson: an emotionally unstable, ideologically deranged, and demonically incited young man. He is in custody. His identity has been confirmed. His family is cooperating. His digital trail is under review. Friends are speaking up. Local, state, and federal agencies are fully engaged. To claim they’re all covering for Mossad is not only absurd, it’s an insult to truth. It takes more blind faith to believe that lie than to accept the facts.
The real threat isn’t Israel. It’s Satan’s age-old strategy: stir confusion, divide the Church, twist Scripture, and replace truth with accusation (I wrote a book on this: Discerning The Devil’s Playbook). This isn’t about being pro-Israel or anti-Israel, it’s about being pro-truth. Charlie was martyred for his convictions, not caught in a Zionist conspiracy. Let’s honor him by standing on the Word, not wandering into the wilderness of conspiracies.
“Let no one deceive you with empty words…”(Ephesians 5:6)
