FROM THE KEYBOARD

One can mark the error of a rebel and the lies of babel when they know the truth of the Bible. You see, when the Word is our lens, we can discern lies. "But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil" (Hebrews 5:14)

The Church has lost ground in the war against truth, not because the world took it, but because we gave it. And to reclaim the ground of truth, we not only need to be grounded in the truth, but we need to boldly proclaim the truth to the world around. "The church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth" (I Timothy 3:15).

We will never find contentment in the next if we do not find contentment in the now. You see, contentment isn't about what you have, but knowing God has you. "Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content" (Philippians 4:11).

God's grace is so good that it gives us interface with the Lord. Without His grace, we would not have access to His presence. And we need His grace now more than ever to fall on us fresh and anew. "O Lord, give us the faith to know You and the grace to make Your face to favor us again!"

The fruit of true joy finds its root in the truth of Jesus. And you don’t get true joy by simply asking one time, but you get it through steady abiding in the Vine. 'Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full"' (John 15:11).

When we don't fear dying, we won't fear living. And only believers in Christ and His Kingdom can live with such wisdom. Thus, to live is Christ and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21).
