God works through those who are holy surrendered, not those who religiously have it all together. He doesn't want our good habits but our broken hearts. "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise" (Psalm 51:17).

Without the armor of God protecting our mind, we are susceptible to spiritual lies. Therefore, use the shield of faith--which is lifting up our trust in Jesus--to keep the devil's darts from touching us. "Above all, take the shield of faith, which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one" (Ephesians 6:16).

The Bible is alive and well. It has a heart meant to be felt and breath meant to be inhaled. It’s the touch-point between heaven and earth. Get in the Word of God and the God of the Word will get in you. "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

Weekend Reminder: Be the "Bible" that the unbelieving world needs to read and be the light that the people in your world need to see. Because when they see your good works, they will begin to see how God looks. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).

Although sin deformed us, God still sent His Son to transform us. You see, if it wasn't for the Potter choosing to make us His vessels, we'd remain broken & dirty sinners. "O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand" (Isaiah 64:8).

If you can grasp this, your life will always have purpose: "All that I have and all that I am is from God (grace) and for God (glory)." For example, if I consciously see my time as from God, then I will purposefully use my time for God. ‍
