Outer success will never replace the need for inner peace. And when in Christ, not even outer chaos can steal one's inner peace. "Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble" (Psalm 119:165).

If God left us with the consequence of our sin, it would have been perfect justice from Him. But He didn't because His Son's sacrifice was sufficient. This is grace. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

The crown of Christ’s coming was that He chose a crucifixion instead of a coronation. And by the cross, our sins were forgiven and His righteousness was given. All hail King Jesus! "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (II Corinthians 5:20).
