Faithfulness to Jesus has always carried a cost. From the first-century martyrs to Columbine, and now to Charlie Kirk, some in America have sealed their testimony with blood. Not all are called to die for Christ, but all are called to live faithfully for Him each day. Martyrs may lose their breath, but they never lose their crown. “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life" (Revelation 2:10).
Nothing about your life is a mistake. If God allowed it, that's because He wants to develop your character through it and also because He wants to use it.
Don't hide your fractures nor cover up your bruises, for both are the ingredients that God uses. You see, God looks to launch His grace through our brokenness and weakness, so that His strength would be obvious.
The Gospel is not just information that confronts the mind. The Gospel is a Person who transforms the heart. Jesus is the only One who can deconstruct the twisted soul and reconstruct it into something whole. Make no mistake, nothing in this world is more powerful than the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
When you are open to do more for God, He will be open to do more through you. You see, what is required isn't great talent, but great intent. Meaning, be simply willing to show up so that God can supremely show out. God will do great things through the individual who allows Him.
No sin, no shame, no past, no pain....know Jesus. Do you know the One who died for your sin and shame, the only One who can redeem your past and pain? Do you know Jesus personally? Again, when you know Jesus, you know peace.
If you only see your own pain, you'll never see God's perfect plan.
A line has indeed been crossed. It happened so quickly you might not have seen it, but you can feel it. And it is being felt in a very real way. The spiritual darkness upon our land is the direct result of godless people and policies that have brought America to her knees....

His name is Little John.” ✝ I say that jokingly in assemblies sometimes, and it certainly gets the audience laughing; because at this point in the presentation, they have already heard me share a story about Little John and I, which involves some prison drama and a tense showdown with some gang members. Of course I couple the story with his picture to drive the oxymoron home about Little John--not being so little......
Our performance doesn’t enhance or reduce God’s faithfulness. And with that opening sentence, it is my utmost privilege to report that God is still in the salvaging business despite our idea behind our own personal usefulness. Sarah and I recently participated in a youth event in Pennsylvania where I was the keynote speaker of the night. I’ve done this particular “presentation” before, which requires PowerPoint slides and embedded video; for it is the most structured way to tell my story without getting caught up in certain areas and timelines. Time is always ticking....
I am currently in Paramus, NJ, where this hotel will be Sarah and mines home away from home for the next 3 days. I am up here for several assemblies at area schools, funded by State Farm, and in conjunction with the Be Still Foundation. Now that school is back in session, my speaking engagement schedule is in full throttle. I will actually be doing about 26 engagements before the New Year, not counting ministry-speaking platforms.
