It’s easy to become so focused on what God might do next that we overlook what He has placed before us today. Faithfulness begins with the next act of obedience, the person who needs our care, and the truth we already know to live. Trust Him with tomorrow, and be faithful with today. “This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
The purpose of every Christian is to know God deeper. And the program of every Christian is to make God known broader. With that being stated, how are you doing with your purpose and program?
Whatever stops you from getting closer to God needs to be stopped in your life. Be it a relationship, a social media binge, or a habitual sin, whatever it is, it needs to abruptly cease so your closeness to God can increase.
Our sin soaked souls are not too drenched to be wrung out completely by cross of Christ. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (I John 1:9).
Bad company corrupts good habits. But good community creates good character.
It is only in the free flow of forgiveness between one another that a relationship will draw closer to God and each other. You see, forgiveness is not only an essential to progress, it is the very heart of Jesus!

I haven’t stopped thinking about a question that came in during the final minutes of Wednesday night’s question-and-answer service. I recognize that many people have sincere and important questions surrounding this subject, so I wanted to reply with a more organized answer. Someone asked, “Why doesn’t Landmark Church have a deliverance ministry?”
I’m going against the culture curve at a frequency so loud that the message will be heard. The world takes no shame in their game--so why should I--when it’s their message that fouls up the brain and fills it with lies. Where is the voice in the gap calling America’s youth back? Not Joel Osteen and a sugar coated appeal! But for the sake of the soul, we need the truth so raw, the gospel message so real. I’ll tell it to you straight with uncompromising conviction. Forging my way in the wilderness and not scared of such friction. It’s not my opinion anyway nor my attempt to sway your opinion; it’s just my behavior that's following the very life of a Champion. I was recently “tweeted at” from 2 different students. Not only 2 different students, but students from 2 different schools. And not only 2 different schools; but 2 different climates that defined the culture in each of those schools. You see, upon entering the one school I was personally greeted by the Superintendent, who sat with me for 30 minutes “shooting the breeze,” and even encouraged me to keep speaking out (though he had not heard the message yet). At the other school, I wasn’t met or greeted by anyone on staff. I was actually ignored until I asked if I could find my way to the auditorium to set up. And one thing I’ve learned from doing this on a daily basis is that the culture of any school starts at the top and flows downward....
Love is relational, not relative. It ought not depend on circumstances or the right “stars aligning.” No! Love is the highest divine emotion that can be expressed in life, not just lip. What I’m about to say next may be pointed, but I’m speaking to myself from past “love” exchanges. Love that is not channeled from the source of pure love is in fact perverted love. We may think we are loving accurately, but if you begin at the wrong location initially, every point after that will be off positionally and diverted.....
It is not my desire for people to hear or see me; it is my earnest prayer that wherever I am called to speak, that the audience would SOLELY hear and see Jesus in me. I am nothing more than a broken man just following Gods perfect plan. And He never ceases to amaze me with His grace. Now, I'm not talking about the definition of grace--unmerited favor--but I am talking about the personification of Grace-- Jesus my Savior. We aren't just "sinners saved by grace." No way! How dare we cheapen....
