In the words of Watchman Nee, “The devil abhors light and truth because these remove the ground of his working.” You see, the devil builds upon darkness and lies and that is why demonic influences are always behind the blurring of lines. Thus, would light be our guide and truth be our guard. "For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light" (Ephesians 5:8).

Nothing can slay a minister or ministry like unchecked slander. You see, the devil wins when slander is allowed to persist. And that is why gossip and slander must be swiftly shut down, like fire being snuffed out. "So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander" (1 Peter 2:1)

If our Christianity is not realized at home, it is not real outside of the home. In other words, our faith should be most evident where our relationships are most intimate; because it is in the home where the rubber of faith meets the road. "If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his...

You cannot change what you are willing to tolerate; because whatever you permit, you promote. Therefore, let integrity be the constant filter through which your actions and reactions pass through. "The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them" (Proverbs 11:3).

If we have the mind of Christ, we will have the spine of Christ. In other words, the mind of Christ affirms our salvation, it forms our sanctification, it informs our supplication, and it conforms us to His sanctions. And with the Lord's mind, we will always stand firm against the lies of our times. "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ" (1 Corinthians 2:16).

In God's economy, everything happens for a divine reason. Even a move backwards is in fact the very stepping stone that will eventually propel you forward. Consider Joseph in the Bible. Without prison, he would have never been ready for the palace. "He sent a man before them—Joseph—who was sold as a slave. They hurt his feet with fetters, he was laid in irons. Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him" (Psalm 105:17-19).
