Peace is not found in the absence of problems but in the presence of God. Circumstances change, but the Lord does not. As we draw near to Him in prayer and His Word, our hearts find rest. Many seek peace by changing their surroundings. Scripture teaches us to find peace by drawing closer to God. Today, pause and enjoy His presence. The One who holds the world in His hands is able to hold your heart in perfect peace. "You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore" (Psalm 16:11).

Most people spend far more time looking through windows than into mirrors. Windows help us see others; mirrors help us see ourselves. Yet one of the greatest blessings God has given us is His Word, which serves as a spiritual mirror. Scripture not only reveals who God is, it reveals who we are. It exposes what needs to change, what needs to be surrendered, and what needs to be strengthened. While it is easy to identify flaws in others, spiritual maturity begins when we allow God's Word to examine us first. “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” (James 1:22).

Salvation is God's work from beginning to end. We could never save ourselves, earn His favor, or secure our own redemption. What God requires, God provides. The Father planned salvation, the Son purchased it through the cross, and the Holy Spirit applies it to our hearts. This truth leaves no room for pride, but every reason for gratitude. Our hope is not found in what we have done for God, but in what God has done for us. The Father thought it, the Son bought it, and the Spirit brought it. Today, rest in the confidence that your salvation is not sustained by your strength, but by God's grace. “Salvation belongs to the LORD" (Psalm 3:8).

The world spends so much time trying to clean the outside while neglecting the condition of the heart. Religion often settles for appearances, but redemption goes deeper. Religion whitewashes, but the blood of the Lamb washes sinners white. “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).
