You’ll find two types of blogs here: long-form (Blog) & short-form (Daily Dose).
What we’re seeing in our world isn’t just social unrest, it’s spiritual rebellion. The signs of chaos aren’t random but are the contractions of a world rejecting God’s authority. Lawlessness always begins in the heart before it shows up in culture. When truth is traded for lies, justice is replaced with confusion, and compassion becomes a weapon against order. Scripture warns us of this growing darkness and reminds us that the restraint won’t last forever. “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way" (2 Thessalonians 2:7).
The further a society strays from truth, the more it will hate those who stand for truth. And even when the world is against you in every way, speak the truth anyway. “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you" (John 15:18).
Even if a dry and thirsty desert surrounds you, when with Jesus, you will always have living waters within you. His presence brings sustenance. "O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water" (Psalm 63:1).
Just as the Lord works through faith, Satan works through fear. And when fear is present, peace is absent. Thus, let your faith rise as peace falls and fear flees. "Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?" (Psalm 56:3-4)
If we know Christ, we know all we need to know. In other words, knowing the Truth well is the relationship necessary to discern the lies of hell. "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will...
From Cyrus the Great to leaders of late, God is able to use unrighteous rulers to accomplish His righteous rule. You see, His omnipotence is not hindered by man's wickedness. "Who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd, and he shall perform all My pleasure..." (Isaiah 44:28a).
God always has a remnant in every age. And the remnant would rather stand with God and be judged by the world than stand with the world and be judged by God. "Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how...
Many are reacting to the recent exchange between Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz, but the real issue isn’t politics, it’s perspective. More specifically, it’s a lack of biblical perspective. Despite their influence, both men reveal a limited grasp of Scripture. Tucker views everything through an America-first lens, opposing any foreign policy...
I'm not religious and I'll tell you why. Religion is not a belief system, it is a system that conforms your belief. It is not “freedom,” it is spiritual slavery. Religion is restriction and that is why it means “bond” aka bondage. Yet, when we become religious, we are openly identifying ourselves with a hierarchy of man. A platform that has removed God. A majority of the Jesus’ enemies were religious...
Suffering is often misunderstood, but that’s because we fail to see how God uses it for our good. Jesus learned obedience through suffering (Hebrews 5:8), so how much more must we heed to suffering in order to simply learn. Think about it. We suffer little by little each day, as aging brings us closer to death. So if I already know I’m going to die, shouldn’t I be learning obedience with each and every breath? The problem is not death however, because in Christ you shall never die; but the problem is how we miss the opportunity to have life abundant before “death” by complaining our way to death. Man essentially....
I just got home from church and outside of my place was a retired Easter basket. I say "retired" because you can tell it served its purpose for that one day of the year--Easter Sunday--to hold the contents of chocolate and other choice Easter candies. But now, this basket that once held goodies is presently holding emptiness. It was only "filled up" for the day, and sadly, so it seems, it did not live...
John 3:16! I know you know it because it is one of the most recited, googled, and memorized verses in the entire Bible. It can be seen in the backdrop of some of the largest sporting events as a sign or even etched on fans as face-paint (inspired by Tim Tebow of course). I mean, even nonbelievers know something about John 3:16, maybe not by memory, but most likely by summary. Yet for the believer, has the familiarity of this verse caused the...
