The crown of righteousness is not based on works of faith, but faith that works. In other words, faith that runs, wrestles, and remains when it would be easier to retreat. Because God isn’t looking for perfection, He’s looking for faith that shows up, speaks up, and doesn’t give up. “But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul" (Hebrews 10:39).
