The never-changing Lord is the only One who can stabilize the soul in an ever-changing world. Thus, let His pace be your peace. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).

You may not be where you want to be, but rejoice that you're no longer where you used to be. And God will finish His work of grace in you, because that is what He has promised to do. "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6).

For the believer in Christ, good will come in time because God is good all the time. You see, even the evil against Joseph was recycled for God's purpose. "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive" (Genesis 50:20).

Worry steals tomorrow from God's hands, while worship entrusts your tomorrow into God's hands. Worry or worship? Now that's in your hands. “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or...

There is nothing too dirty that God cannot wash with His mercy. And not only does His grace sanitize the shame in the soul, but His love stabilizes the hurt in the heart. "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit" (Titus 3:5).

To behold the love of God is to be held by the love of God. Because when we lift up our eyes, we allow Him to lift the burdens from our lives. "I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth" (Psalm 121:1-2).
