God’s providence is not simply when circumstances work out the way we hoped. He is just as sovereign in the valley as He is on the mountaintop, in the unanswered prayer as He is in the answered one. Faith doesn't require us to understand every circumstance; it trusts the God who stands over every circumstance. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
In order to push back the darkness, we must commit ourselves to prayerfulness. You see, the enemy prevails when believers do not exercise their weapons of warfare. And these weapons are not found in our willpower but in God's power. "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood..." (Ephesians 6:12).
Don't allow the lies of the culture around you to silence the truth of Christ within you. "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (I Jonn 4:4).
God is more interested in developing us through our trials than delivering us from our trials. He knows what He's doing, so trust Him and keep going. "Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer" (Romans 12:12).
"In myself, nothing. In Christ, everything" (AW Tozer). Let this be the pulse of our hearts, the reach of our hands, and the worship of our lives. "For in Him we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:28).

Alright, alright, I hear all the buzz.
